Responsibilities:
- Serve as a professional, registered nurse and authentic leader, supporting the organization's strategic plan and priorities.
- Participate in unit and hospital decision-making, providing meaningful recognition to others.
- Provide operational and administrative support to Nurse leadership, ensuring effective coordination of staffing and throughput.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing practice and the nursing care delivery system, promoting quality and safety outcomes.
- Assist in identifying cost containment measures and implement alternative product utilization strategies within the department.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent.
- A strong sense of accountability for improving patient lives, an exceptional focus on teamwork, and dedication to ongoing education.
- The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and deliver high-quality care based on a strong sense of patient focus.
- A valid New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license, BLS (AHA) certification, and National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program.
