This position is critical to building and maintaining a high-performing accounting infrastructure for a rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities include overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budget development, compliance, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and account schedules.
- Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and evaluate internal controls to recommend improvements.
- Collaborate on financial systems integration (e.g., QuickBooks to NetSuite).
- Manage tax filing coordination, audit activities, and external reporting requirements.
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics, supporting strategic financial planning.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.
- Provide detailed analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) License
- 7 years of professional accounting experience (corporate or public).
- Strong exposure to financial audits, tax filings, and revenue recognition standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Technical expertise in accounting and financial operations.
