What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Compensation Specialist position at TalentBridge?
Location : Fort Mill, SC, (Hybrid : Mon-Wed in office, Thurs & Fri remote)
Interview : Panel interview, possibly two rounds
Start : ASAP, but likely early January due to the holiday season and background checks.
Scheduled Hours :Responsibilities :
- Serve as part of the Research and Resolution team, focusing on resolving complex compensation issues.
- Manage - cases per day, which are escalated from the "front-end phone team" who handles initial inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to advisor commissions and fees, adhering to policies and regulations.
- Research and troubleshoot issues independently using available systems and resources; most answers can be found within the system.
- Provide exceptional customer service, treating every advisor with the highest level of respect and professionalism.
- Handle escalated cases, often involving advisors who were not paid as expected; some cases may involve upset advisors, so maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure is crucial.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to "think like Sherlock Holmes" and find solutions to complex issues.
- SIE License (preferred but not required).
- Background in financial services (fraud, financial claims, financial crimes, KYC, AML, compensation analysis, etc.) preferred.
- Highly self-sufficient and proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong research and database experience.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage escalated cases effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
