About the Role
Job Overview :
We are seeking an After Hours / Weekend NOC Technician to monitor Network and UC System alerts in the NOC after hours and on weekends. The technician will be responsible for triaging resolutions, maintaining the alerting system, and assisting network and UC resources with incident resolution and service requests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize CoP Run Books to perform authorized tasks and resolve issues.
- NOC Support : Identify and perform initial triage of alerts for monitored devices.Escalate ISP or circuit-related issues to vendors, followed by ITS resources if needed.Escalate Cisco-related issues directly to ITS resources.Add / delete devices from the monitoring system.
- Provide MACD support for network and UC-related tickets while not actively performing NOC tasks or during high-ticket volume periods.
- Offer support during nighttime / off-hours and weekends as required.
