This position is for a project manager of the new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program. The Energy Efficiency Consultant, EV Implementation will lead design, development, marketing, and implementation of the EV Charging Program under the direction of the Manager of Electric Vehicle Implementation. This position is also responsible for all reporting required by state regulators and oversight of all vendors and partner organizations involved in this program. To support program participants, this position will engage with customers/communities, manage program payments, approve program applications, and assist in the process of continuously improving program operations.

Typical Task Breakdown
- Oversees and coordinates residential, fleet, multifamily, and DCFC EV Charging Program in CT including program delivery, monitoring, and evaluation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Recommends appropriate resources to implement cost-effective program, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to refine optimal electric vehicle charging strategies to meet key program objectives.
- Works with industry stakeholders and local communities across Eversource territory to raise awareness of EV Charging Program.
- Ensures compliance with state regulations and Company policies, changing operating procedures as necessary.
- Stay up to date on the managed charging capabilities of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), vehicle onboard telematics, and aftermarket onboard diagnostic ports.
- Work with EVSE and vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate their equipment into the Program and Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS).
- Works with management to budget and plan implementation for the Program. Tracks financial and operational performance of all program elements. Develops and implements Program rules and guidance.
- Collaborates on RFPs for selection of outside vendors to help administer and deliver the program, as applicable.
- Coordinates appropriate reporting for both internal and external review of program results.
- Interacts with customers and resolves concerns and complaints as necessary.
- Assists in the development of customer education materials with a particular emphasis on consumer protection and low-income participation.
- Develops and administers processes for issuing payments to customers in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ensures regulatory deadlines are met.
- Fosters and supports the development of a company culture that promotes high customer satisfaction.

Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Public Policy, Financial, related disciplines, or equivalent experience
- Master’s Degree strongly preferred
- Three (3) plus years managing complex, high-volume customer-facing programs

- knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting best practice
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of electric vehicle charging and utility DR and peak demand reduction programs and load profiling.
