Title: UX Designer
Location: REMOTE but Candidates must be local to a Client Facility (Stamford, CT; Irving, TX; or Fort Myers, FL)
Duration: 6 months contract on w2 (NO C2C)
- Portfolio Requirement: MUST have online portfolios reflecting past designs in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- Experience:
- Should have 3 years of experience designing web and mobile apps and 5 years of general design experience.
- Specific experience developing for Sales Cloud/Service Cloud is required.
- Should be able to lead user experience projects and coach product owners on setting metrics for user experience success prior to implementation.
- Must have experience designing for Salesforce's capabilities and out-of-box (OOB) features.
- Education: Must have completed a BA degree for consideration.
- Work Hours: Must be able to support EST hours for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity design artifacts, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, that reflect thoughtful, scalable, and intuitive solutions.
- Champion the correct usage of the Salesforce Lightning Design System across product teams.
- Deliver comprehensive design specifications and work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
- Participate in and facilitate design critiques, design thinking workshops, and user testing sessions.
- Integrate user feedback, enterprise processes, and business requirements into ongoing user experience changes and functionality.
- Support multiple projects while prioritizing workflow based on ROI and business value.
- Analyze and incorporate quantitative data and qualitative insights into design.
- Advocate for prioritizing design-centered changes and improvements that are user-centric while driving value based on user experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- Design Experience:
- 3 years designing web and mobile apps.
- 5 years of general design experience.
- Experience driving execution for complex enterprise products across multiple workstreams.
- System Design Expertise:
- Proficient in creating and working with robust design systems.
- Salesforce Lightning Design System experience is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Skilled in Figma, including building and maintaining component libraries.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with an eye for pixel-perfect detail.
- Experience designing layouts and user processes in Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud).
- User-Centric Focus:
- Solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), including information architecture, app interactions, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility.
- Collaboration:
- Ability to work with geographically distributed teams to design user experiences that meet client needs and business goals.
- Responsive Design:
- Expertise in adapting designs for different devices and understanding what translates from desktop to mobile.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong brand and user experience instincts.
- Ability to iterate designs efficiently and communicate requirements effectively with technical partners.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or a related field is required.
