TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a travel position in Penn Yan, New York.

This is a part-time LPN position, requiring 24 hours of work per week. Holidays are mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, this LPN/LVN will perform direct and indirect resident care within their scope of practice as defined by certification. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
The LPN/LVN will provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit, including adult and geriatric patient groups. They will meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADL) needs as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
This includes:
- Hygiene and grooming
- Dressing and elimination/toileting needs
- Turning/positioning and skin care
The LPN/LVN will also maintain residents' environment and safety, including answering call lights and alarms promptly, providing safety mats and low beds, and restraining under the direction of nursing.
Furthermore, they will ensure residents' nutritional needs are met, honoring their preferences and choices. This includes meal delivery, tray preparation, adaptive equipment, feeding, and nourishments.
The LPN/LVN will identify and report changes in resident physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely fashion. They will also ensure residents' rights, refusals, and concerns are reported in accordance with policies and procedures.
This role requires collaboration with various facilities, including Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Living Center North, Living Center South, Finger Lakes Medical PC, The Homestead, and Huntington Living Center.
