About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to lead the migration of legacy systems to a modern cloud-based SaaS solution. This role focuses on data extraction, mapping, and testing for EHR systems, specifically working with Oracle Cerner Millennium and HL7 data formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Migration & Integration – Develop scripts to extract data from Oracle Cerner’s Millennium database in HL7 format.
- Testing & Debugging – Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth transition.
- Stakeholder Communication – Provide updates, prepare documentation, and collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Post-Migration Support – Train end-users, optimize system performance, and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills & Experience (8 years)
- Strong expertise in EHR data migration, HL7 formats, and Oracle Cerner Millennium
- Experience in business analysis, workflow analysis, and process documentation
- Proficiency in Cerner Command Language (CCL) for data extraction
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of IT industry trends, SaaS models, cloud data migration, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with state project frameworks and documentation standards
- Prior experience with SaaS-based EHR systems
Work Hours & Location
- Onsite in Austin, TX (No remote option)
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may require occasional overtime)
