Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you'll be the trusted advisor and technical counterpart for our customers. You'll work closely with them to understand their needs and solve their biggest challenges.

This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, including software engineering, SRE, infrastructure, networking, developer relations, solutions architecture, and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Deploy large-scale GPU clusters using custom playbooks and tools.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of our compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
• Migrate petabytes of data from public cloud platforms to local storage.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the entire stack.
• Develop internal tools to improve deployment efficiency and cluster reliability.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: You possess a strong understanding of Kubernetes, SLURM, Go, Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Problem-solving Skills: You can identify and resolve intricate technical challenges.
• Communication Skills: You can effectively convey complex information in both written and verbal formats.
• Customer Focus: You are passionate about helping customers succeed.

• 0-10 years of relevant experience
