Position Overview

Position Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, and security solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Oversee the administration of Windows servers, databases, and email systems, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
- Monitor network activity, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify security threats and unusual traffic patterns.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions to optimize system performance.
- Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure data security and compliance.
- Support and troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues, ensuring seamless operations across all locations.
- Manage SSL certificates, system backups, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical business data.
- Collaborate with vendors, outsourcing partners, and contractors to support network services and upgrades.
- Provide helpdesk support and after-hours on-call assistance, resolving IT-related issues efficiently.
- Travel occasionally to company locations to oversee IT system installations and maintenance.
Position Qualifications
Required:
- Proven track record of network administration and IT infrastructure management in a corporate environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, IT security, and system support.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, network security, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN systems.
- Proficiency in firewall management, intrusion detection, and security protocols to protect corporate data.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex IT issues in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred:
- Experience managing multi-location IT networks and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively improve network security and efficiency.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
- Experience working with cloud-based IT solutions and virtualization technologies.
