What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Lead and manage the sales team while collaborating with customer service, finance, product management, marketing, and R&D to achieve revenue goals
Develop strategic sales plans and identify growth market opportunities to maximize market share for foam fire protection products
Monitor and coach sales team members to enhance sales performance and customer service quality
Conduct regular business performance reviews and meetings with the sales team to track progress and sales results
Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales personnel to improve organizational capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications) :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or Fire Protection Engineering
10-15 years of successful sales management experience in driving revenue across a remote sales organization, preferably in the fire protection or detection industry
Proven track record of accomplishments in the sales function and driving profitable business growth
Experience in motivating and energizing a diverse sales team in critical areas of sales planning and negotiation
Willingness to travel up to 50% (initially 75%)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Master’s degree and Lean / Six Sigma certification
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Proven influence and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix structure
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and SalesForce.com
