Pharmacy Call Center Representative – Work From Home
About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Call Center Representative to join our team in a remote, full-time position. In this role, you’ll handle both inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients with prescription-related inquiries while ensuring HIPAA compliance. If you have strong customer service skills and experience in a pharmacy or healthcare call center environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, providing support for pharmacy-related questions
- Offer accurate information about prescriptions, refills, insurance, and pharmacy services
- Assist with placing orders, processing refills, and coordinating medication deliveries
- Ensure strict HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality
- Resolve customer concerns, billing issues, and insurance verification questions
- Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare providers for seamless service
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of call center, pharmacy customer service, or healthcare-related experience
- Availability for onsite training (1 week) before transitioning to remote work
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, prescription processing, and insurance verification preferred
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to simplify complex information
- Proficiency in EHR systems, pharmacy software, or CRMs
- Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
- Strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling sensitive patient information and following HIPAA guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare or pharmacy-related training is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
