Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive / Industrial Painter to join a leading manufacturer of drill rigs and tooling services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive and / or industrial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes on various metal components and equipment.
Pay : $28- $30
Schedule : Monday- Friday 1st shift
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply primers, paints, and coatings to drill rigs, tooling, and associated parts using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Interpret and follow technical documents, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct painting specifications and procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, checking for imperfections and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Properly manage and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing the paint shop, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
