Key Responsibilities
- Execute MIG welding operations involving aluminum and steel on a variety of trucking components in a manufacturing setting.
- Identify and report any defective materials or questionable conditions to your team lead and production supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to established safety practices.
- Apply your knowledge of welding and fabrication concepts to achieve high-quality results.
- Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts as necessary.
- Deliver finished products that meet quality standards.
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques for aluminum and steel.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety and quality protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating forklifts, both stand-up and sit-down.
- Capability to produce finished welding products to specifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing-related role.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with aluminum welding in a production context.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; certification in welding or a related field is a plus.
