A leading commercial painting contractor is seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Project Manager to oversee and expand relationships with General Contractors in the New England market. Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new General Contractors while strengthening existing relationships.
- Position the company as the preferred "open shop" (non-union) painting partner for top-tier contractors.
- Analyze client needs, project pipelines, and market opportunities for expansion.
- Execute strategic sales processes, including accurate estimating, bidding, and project delivery.
- Maintain CRM (ZoHo) records for tracking bids, sales progress, and client interactions.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and bid targets.
- Provide timely reports and maintain client data integrity within the CRM system.
- Represent the company professionally at job sites, trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
- Conduct site visits and maintain ongoing communication with General Contractors’ field teams and leadership.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3 years of experience managing and winning commercial construction projects.
- Established relationships with General Contractors, Estimators, and Project Managers.
- Strong business development and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to grow revenue.
- Understanding of commercial construction processes and subcontractor work.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM software (ZoHo preferred).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Proven ability to forecast sales revenue accurately.
- Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders in target accounts.
