Talento Search Group has an opening for an Engineering Specialist position in London, Kentucky. This is a full time, direct-hire position and the pay rate is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Position Summary:
The Engineering Specialist is responsible for technical assistance and training of maintenance staff and development of preventive maintenance programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains planned, predictive and preventative maintenance system
- Improve processes within manufacturing facility through lean manufacturing methods
- Improve capability and production volume through analyzing and planning workflow and equipment layout
- Provide process flow improvements
- Insure smooth transition from pre-production to production
- Maintain setup and work instructions to assist in training of team members
- Enforce all company safety rules and regulations
- Maintain spare parts needed for repairs
- Reviews budget and spending trends
Experience Needed:
- Ability to work alongside maintenance to troubleshoot machines, if needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field OR
- 4 years of industrial engineering experience
- Strong skill-sets in industrial electrical and mechanical repairs
- Understanding and experience in automated control systems, PLC's and CNC control systems
