The Role:

As the Business Development Manager, the individual will be actively involved in outside sales, working in the field to build and maintain customer relationships. Their responsibilities include tactical planning, proposal creation, and articulating problem statements to address customer pain points. They develop comprehensive customer development plans with weekly forecasting to achieve business objectives. Ensuring appropriate resourcing for customers and handling communications, conflict resolution, and compliance are also part of their duties.


How You Make an Impact:

In this role, you wield significant influence over the customer journey. Serving as a mostly outside sales representative and account overseer, you will help Talento partner with customers while promoting Talento’s services. Ensure customers have the resources they need through removing obstacles and optimizing process. You will act as a culture leader, instilling these and other Talento values into our developing associates.


Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Manage a projects list and report on status weekly for internal, customer or other initiatives
  • Espouses the culture of the firm as a key tone setter to our associates everyday
  • Breathes and represents our company values, ensuring every associate is engaged, motivated and understands their goals
  • Compile weekly lifecycle recruiting metrics and financial forecasting for actual v. goals for assigned accounts


Customer Development

  • Develops customer growth plans ensuring objectives are consistently met while measuring the correlation between satisfaction and revenue/gross profit objective; Develop detailed action plans for prospecting to drive coordinated outreach, meeting, events, and other activities
  • Manage Talento story telling to existing and new customers to help promote our brand
  • Successfully build relationships with prospect customers
  • Understand customer pain points and provide value to them through logically assembled information for them to consume and act on
  • Create proposals, statements of work and price opportunities; Articulate problem statements and create presentations/proposals on our approach to address pain points; Drive a solutions-based approach encompassing Talento services that create efficiency, new capabilities, or lower costs
  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns that drive lead generation strategic alliances thought leadership etc. resulting in market activation and growth
  • Participate as needed in trade professional and industry associations to develop contacts while contributing meaningfully to the purpose of the associations
  • Coordinate customer and company driven initiatives to meet the needs of the customer while ensuring a positive outcome for the company.


Customer Experience

  • Ensure the appropriate resourcing for customers to ensure the appropriate outcomes; Participate in attracting, developing, engaging & retaining associates; Obsess over the right resources for customer experience to be achieved
  • Serve as a Recruiting expert to our customers’ HR business partners and hiring managers across multiple functional domains; Provide strategic insights, solutions, recommendations, and overall execution support to ensure the Talento differentiation from mass market, transaction-centric vendors
  • Responsible for customer communications, conflict resolution and compliance. Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
  • Develops and manages recruiting KPI's per customer producing insightful stories and driving delivery excellence through data
  • Successfully review job descriptions and analyze client requirements to understand the needs of the hiring manager and skills required. Provide feedback to customers when expectations vs. market realities are not aligned
  • Plays an integral role in contributing to the expertise of the team through collaboration and practice sharing.
  • Participate meaningfully in the ongoing performance management process for the firms associates
  • Shares responsibility for facilitating daily prioritization meetings. We self-manage our selves through a rhythm where the team holds each other accountable
  • Advocate on behalf of the Customer during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience.
  • Ensures the consistent execution of the end-to-end recruiting process serving as a coach, and hands-on trainer in these areas:
  • Interaction with customers in Kickoff & Calibration meetings. Ensure customer requirements are gathered and leveraged throughout research, outreach, assessment, and submission
  • Support development of research plan and tactics by collaborating and leading when needed with a team of recruiters, researchers, and customer teams. Constructs Boolean search strings to expedite focused candidate and client discovery. Develop creative sourcing and recruiting resources to expand talent portfolio and attract qualified candidates
  • Conduct structured interviews and produce corresponding documentation to complete comprehensive candidate screenings that articulate fit to a role
  • Develop compelling outreach messaging via appropriate mediums to effectively market to candidates
  • Manage and update internal ATS with accuracy and integrity
  • Display technical knowledge and the ability to understand technology
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Creates search overview reports for clients including market intelligence and activities summaries
  • Manage a diverse requisition load across all functional areas with varying levels of seniority for specific customers with total accountability of recruiting process, ensuring the end-to-end execution of the Talento Assessment Methodology (TAM)


Experience and knowledge requirements for the role:

  • Passionate about enabling businesses through human capital
  • 7 years of industry experience
  • Proven outside sales experience with strong customer relationship management and tactical planning skills.
  • Expertise in developing customer development plans, creating proposals, and addressing customer pain points through effective presentations.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and talent management abilities, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in sourcing and candidate assessment would be ideal
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
  • Driven by collaboration, learning, doing the right thing and quality human interaction
  • Pride in delivering quality work, every time
  • Fluent in English. Spanish preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
