TalentoHC is actively partnered with an enterprise organization actively seeking a Credit Card Chargeback Specialist on a 6 months contract to join their Payment Operations team.
Job Summary:
Responsible for handling credit card disputes, chargebacks, and outstanding payments. Works with collection agencies to recover debts efficiently and liaises with financial institutions and internal departments to resolve cases while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve credit card disputes and chargebacks.
- Manage outstanding balances, promissory notes, and payments.
- Track and update financial records, including a ledger of outstanding debts.
- Coordinate with credit card companies and collection agencies for case resolutions.
- Maintain records of disputes, lost cases, and payment collections.
- Prepare reports and analyses of financial transactions.
- Ensure outstanding debts are addressed, including managing restrictions for unpaid accounts.
- Support general accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in accounting, customer service, or claims resolution.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
