What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Revenue Accountant position at TalentoHC?
TalentoHC is partnering with a leading enterprise client to hire a Senior Accountant for their Revenue Accounting team.
In this role, you'll lead, and support system-related accounting efforts tied to revenue processes. This includes contributing to system upgrades, implementations, and identifying improvements to ensure accurate financial reporting. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with departments like IT, Analytics, and Revenue Management to support new initiatives and ensure accounting compliance
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for revenue systems, driving process improvements and system testing.
- Lead pre/post-implementation efforts including testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze system configurations and resolve accounting variances.
- Partner on new promotions or initiatives to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Assist with internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Continuously improve accounting processes related to revenue systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive Accounting or IT Audit experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
