TalentoHC is actively partnered with an enterprise organization gearing up for a Workday Go-Live in 2025, seeking a Workday HCM Business Process Analyst on contract for 6 months to join their Workday Team.
This role is based in Miami, FL and will by Hybrid requiring 3 days in office for the duration of the assignment. The client will ONLY be reviewing applicants living locally in South Florida
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Workday HCM Business Process Analyst to join our implementation team and drive go live readiness for corporate operations. This role will be heavily focused on business processes leading up to the May 30th go live, then transition to stabilization support through the summer, with a smaller percentage of support to another team thereafter. You’ll partner with Human Resource and systems teams to document standard operating procedures (SOPs), capture gaps, and ensure every exception or edge case has clear guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Go Live Support: Provide support for the May 30th go live of Workday HCM modules.
- Lead stabilization activities for Recruiting, Onboarding, and core HCM processes.
- Process Documentation & Gap Analysis: Collaborate with teams to adapt “happy path” user guides into comprehensive SOPs.
- Identify and document process gaps, exceptions, and nonstandard use cases not covered in initial guides.
- Work with systems teams to define and document end to end workflows for every scenario.
- Testing & Validation: Execute test cases and transact in Workday to validate business process configurations and exception handling.
- Log findings, drive remediation, and update SOPs accordingly.
- Training & Change Enablement: Create and maintain user guides and quick reference job aids for end users.
- Facilitate training sessions or office hours to ensure adoption and confidence in new processes.
Skills & Experience
Required
- Workday HCM & Recruiting Expertise: Hands on experience with Workday HCM business processes and Recruiting module transactions.
- Proven track record in testing, transacting, and validating Workday business processes.
- Process Documentation: Strong ability to craft clear, user friendly SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
- Autonomy & Collaboration: Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight, while effectively partnering with cross functional teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Aptitude for gap analysis, identifying edge cases, and driving documentation to close process holes.
Desired
- Configuration Background: Prior experience configuring Workday HCM and Recruiting modules.
- Change Management: Familiarity with change enablement practices and training delivery in an enterprise environment.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Workday HCM/Recruiting certification(s) a plus.
