Position Overview
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Capture Manager to join our team in the Northern Virginia Area. In this key role, you will lead capture efforts to drive business growth and expand our presence within the federal government sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing winning strategies, building strong client relationships, and positioning the company for successful contract pursuits.
The Capture Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Growth and will work remotely, with occasional onsite visits to Leesburg, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead complete capture lifecycle management, including solution development, competitive pricing strategies, and proposal execution.
- Drive capture efforts in coordination with Business Development and Delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with customer needs.
- Conduct comprehensive customer and competitor analysis to inform strategic solutions.
- Develop compelling, customer-centric value propositions and strategies that align with Price to Win (PTW) analysis.
- Demonstrate expertise in GSA, Symphony, OASIS, IDIQs (single / multi-award), and contract payment types (FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus).
- Oversee the execution of Teaming Agreements, NDAs, and subcontractor strategies.
- Work closely with proposal teams to develop highly competitive, compliant submissions.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within DHS, CBP, DOI, FEMA, and other federal civilian agencies.
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships to enhance market positioning.
- Proactively track emerging government trends, policy changes, and funding opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
- Represent our client at industry conferences, expos, and networking events as required.
