FULL DESCRIPTION : The Maintenance Mechanic ensures compliance with GMP standards by maintaining equipment such as motors, pumps and the facility in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Maintain and repair production equipment, including pneumatic pumps and motors, vacuum pumps, compressors, solvent lines, water lines, air lines, reactor vessels, and HVAC systems. -Ensure cleaning and maintenance of production, support areas, and general facility in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).-Handle requests from production and other departments, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.-Transfer solvents to use locations safely and efficiently. 5. Update inventories and other supplies as needed to support maintenance operations. -Comply with all safety procedures, demonstrating knowledge of occupational hazards and required precautions. -Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMPs. -Deal tactfully, professionally, and courteously with fellow employees and external vendors / contractors. -Perform general clean-up and maintenance tasks as required. -Take necessary safety precautions to ensure the secure performance of assigned duties. -Perform other related duties as assigned.
