FULL DESCRIPTION : Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our Miramar office on a temporary basis. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, handling administrative functions, and ensuring smooth coordination between legal and support staff. This role requires a proactive and authoritative individual who can efficiently manage office responsibilities in a legal environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Oversee office operations and administrative functions.-Handle employee requests, including time-off approvals and scheduling.-Manage office supplies and coordinate scheduled maintenance for the office building.-Supervise front office staff, including a receptionist and document department personnel.-Act as the primary point of contact for office-related issues and troubleshooting.-Liaise with IT, reception, and accounting staff to maintain office efficiency.-Ensure compliance with firm policies, including strict regulations on overtime approvals.-Support attorneys and legal staff by allocating administrative resources as needed. The selected candidate will also possess : -5 years of office management experience in a law firm setting.-Experience in a law firm, accounting firm, architectural firm, or other service-based industries with billable hours (law firm experience preferred).-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational challenges.-Business acumen with a professional and authoritative demeanor.-Familiarity with handling employee requests, light HR duties, and overseeing administrative workflows.-Exposure to client billing issues is a plus.-Must be able to start within a week and cross-train with the outgoing Office Manager.
