Immediate opening for a Vice President of Sales in Addison, IL who possesses : -Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, 10 years of sales experience-5 years of experience selling gears, must have experience selling to oil and gas industries -Must have 2 years of management experience Email resumes to odrow@ and call 858.866.8676 FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Direct and Own the Business Development as well as the Sales and Marketing functions-Refine and coordinate sales cycle and methodologies-Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services-Research and develop strategies and plans which identify additional marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development-Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results-Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, -Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts-Participate in the development of new project proposals-Establish and implement short and long-range goals, & objectives -Represent the company at various community and / or business meetings to promote the company-Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs-Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors-Other duties as assigned -Manage and mentor team.-Acts as the main ‘Gate Keeper' for all CRM users and data. Ensure the PipeDrive CRM is fully utilized and kept updated by the team.-Interface with business associates-Ensure that all Sales Personnel meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes-Delegates' authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up and that weekly reports are delivered with prior week status -Holds Weekly Sales Meetings to discuss new customer / market opportunities or changes as well communicate to the organization what is needed in terms of support to help the sales team succeed.-Market segmentation analysis for mining, hydraulic frac, and industrial gearing / gearbox users. Layout OEM, distributors, rebuilders, and end user base-Market demographics-Defining equipment usage-Upkeep / maintenance cycles of equipment-Identify other adjacent markets / targets in the region such as rebuilders, steel producers, sugar mills, etc.-Improving the market position of the organization and helping it in every way to attain the desired financial growth-Leading and working with the Sales Directors / Managers and Engineering / Quoting Teams to provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting-Sets examples for Sales Personnel in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits-Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Sales Directors to build motivation and selling skills-Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction-Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees-Prepares routine complex correspondence, reports and presentations, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word-Conduct research and take charge of special projects-Foster a team spirited environment-Independently solve problems and display conflict revolution skills-All other duties and activities as assigned or necessary to support the Business Development / Sales Team and OCG Senior Leadership.
