What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Talis Group?
Talis Group is recruiting for a civil litigation law firm downtown Louisville, KY. Our company client specializes in tort claims such as medical malpractice or product liability. This highly successful law firm is hiring for a Paralegal role with the firm. We’re looking for a candidate who has Litigation experience, preferably on the defense side, that can support 2 attorneys. Competitive compensation and full benefits package and merit bonuses available. This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am to 5pm.
Highlighted Duties :
- Support 2 attorneys with civil litigation defense.
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court appearance reminders.
- Assist with drafting and editing legal documents.
- E-Filing legal documents with state and federal courts.
- Legal research, deposition summaries and preparation of witness statements and other materials for case preparation.
