POSITION SUMMARY
The Litigation Paralegal will support the Legal Team in their day-to-day litigation related activities. In this role, you will oversee a robust litigation docket, create documentation, liaise with multiple internal departments, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage the Company’s litigation docket, including opening and closing matters in Legal Tracker, running data analytics, working with internal business partners and outside counsel to assist in responding to discovery or requests for information, and providing general case assistance
- Oversee receipt and distribution of service of process via the Company’s registered agent
- Assist with issuance and maintenance of legal holds
- Prepare professional correspondence, legal notices, and other legal documents
- Act as a liaison to internal teams and our Brands
- Perform special projects and other tasks as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Proficiency with Legal Tracker
- Working knowledge of legal terminology, practices, and concepts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and customer-service mentality
- Superior organizational and project management skills
- Able to of multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to self-manage and be productive in a remote work environment
- Able to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and discretion
REQUIREMENTS
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft applications (TEAMS, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe required; Experience with CSC, Smart Sheets, and Power BI a plus
Work Environment: If working remotely, a dedicated workspace with minimal distraction is required
