Talis Group’s client is a privately held leader in food manufacturing with a large plant located in Southern Indiana. This is an SQF Level 3 food manufacturing facility committed to delivering the highest standards of food safety & quality. They are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee daily quality operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with production teams, & ensuring compliance with regulatory quality standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills & the ability to manage multiple projects. This position will report directly to the QA Manager. This role will be for 3
shift, working Sunday-Thursday, 9 : 30pm-7am. Company offers generous salary of $55k-$68k and full benefits.
Highlighted Duties :
- Lead and mentor QA technicians, managing schedules and daily tasks.
- Support shop floor quality programs, including line checks, sanitation inspections, and equipment calibration.
- Conduct training for QA staff and production teams on quality and compliance standards.
- Ensure all shop floor quality documentation is complete and accurate.
- Work closely with the HACCP Coordinator to monitor ingredient weigh-up, batching procedures, and critical control points.
- Review product quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D on new or modified product implementations.
- Assist with HACCP and process coordination as needed.
