We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of a newly funded data center development company. This role will oversee all aspects of financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, and operational finance to support the company’s rapid growth and ensure financial discipline. The CFO will work closely with the executive team to optimize financial performance and drive profitability in a capital-intensive, renewable-powered digital infrastructure business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to support project financing and operational needs.
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive cost optimization and financial discipline across the business.
- Support fundraising efforts and capital allocation strategies while ensuring strong financial governance.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of financial leadership experience, with a strong background in accounting, FP&A, and treasury.
- Experience in the data centers sector is required.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and corporate finance principles.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
