Job Summary :
The Business Developer – Data Centers will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing renewable energy opportunities with hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation data center customers. This role requires a deep understanding of data center energy needs, power procurement strategies, and corporate sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategies to secure power agreements with data center operators, including hyperscalers, enterprise customers, and colocation providers.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities to expand the company’s data center-focused renewable energy portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including data center operators, utilities, consultants, and corporate sustainability teams.
- Lead negotiations and structuring of power purchase agreements (PPAs), virtual PPAs (VPPAs), and other energy solutions tailored to data center customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including development, finance, and regulatory affairs—to align project development with market needs.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory policies, and emerging technologies impacting data center energy procurement.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance market presence and business development efforts.
