The Power, Energy & Infrastructure team is a globally-integrated investment banking franchise with deep industry experience and privileged access to leading capital providers. Through its global reach, the team maintains strong relationships and continuous dialogue with top financial sponsors and corporates in the infrastructure, power, utilities, and energy transition industries. The team focuses on a wide range of services, including M&A, leveraged finance, restructuring, project finance, and debt and equity financing solutions.
Responsibilities:
The team delivers a broad range of advisory services, such as M&A, capital raising, and project financing, with expertise across power generation, utilities, energy transition related software and industrial equipment, digital infrastructure and transportation infrastructure. The Investment Banking Group offers Analysts an exceptional opportunity to work in deal teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Responsibilities include:
- Work with senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing deals across M&A and capital markets
- Develop complex greenfield and brownfield financial models and conduct financial analyses for power, energy, and infrastructure projects across all sectors
- Draft marketing materials, including financing proposals, investor materials, rating agency presentations, and pitchbooks
- Conduct industry and company research to identify new opportunities
- Coordinate various processes, including M&A and capital markets transactions
- Assist in completing transaction due diligence with third-party advisors
- Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings
- Conduct industry and company-specific research related to transactions
- Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, infrastructure funds, strategic investors, and senior bankers
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Self-motivated individuals who display initiative, drive, and leadership
- Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably from a top-tier school
