The Project Manager for Transmission Lines and Substation will function as a project manager. You will own the bottom line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own distribution, private networks, and BESS projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
Execute projects that have substantial impact within various communities
Own a diversity of projects within the electric grid space including both innovative and proven technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Actively promotes the safety culture.
Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work.
Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
Management Responsibilities
Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.
