General Job Description:
To facilitate marked improvement in behavioral and social/communication skills which interfere with the individual’s ability to participate effectively within needed educational, social, and familial environments, using effective, evidence-based practices and approaches, while supporting caregivers/families in generalization and maintenance of skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized programs based current evidence based ABA interventions
- Ensure all treatment plans and programs comply with contract requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certifications, and meet or exceed professional standards. Maintain highly organized, consistent, thorough, and systematic record keeping practices.
- Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services.
- Direct staff and caregivers in the implementation of new and/or revised treatment protocols
- Provide training and supervision to Behavior Technicians/ RBTs through observations, meetings, performance reviews, and other methods.
- Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols
- Ensure that all aspects of the program follow and meets all insurance compliance guidelines and best practices of the BCBA board.
- Conduct regular BCBA meetings and clinical case reviews to maintain highest possible treatment integrity
- Supervises Case Managers and provides guidance on client protocols and procedures
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments
- Provide on-going support to families and Behavior Technicians
- Ensure implementation of programs according to company standards of excellence
- Provide direct services to clients as needed
- Collaborate closely with client’s other direct service providers
- Provide descriptive progress notes on a daily basis
- Meet with the Clinical Director to discuss parent concerns, reports, treatment goals, contract fulfillment, productivity, etc.
- Stay abreast of and implement new, research-based instructional strategies
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complete essential components to allow for documentation and billing for services provided to individuals in an efficient, comprehensive, and timely manner.
2. Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude focused on the success of clients and dedication to the culture of TALK.
3. Other tasks may be deemed appropriate and necessary by the immediate supervisor and/or the administrative team.
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field
2. Current BCBA certification
3. CPR/first aid certification maintained ever 2 years
4. Completion of all TALK specific onboarding processes and documentation
5. Passed background check and TB test
6. Must be able to stand, sit, and crawl for extended time periods
7. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Safety and Health:
Knowledge of universal hygiene precautions. CPR/first aid certification is maintained every 2 years.
