- Maintains the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information.
- Perform forklift training per company established training program.
- Perform, demonstrate, and instruct all pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
- Instruct and demonstrate the proper ways to report any damage or defects as discovered on equipment.
- Trainer may be requested to train forklift operators in duties required by departments.
- Outbound forklift operators pick pallets for orders and load containers as needed.
- Inbound forklift operators will bin-in new pallets.
- Inventory forklift operators will perform pallet movements to maintain yard health.
- P&S and PRM forklift operators will conduct pallet movements needed to maintain production.
- Train new forklift operators to takes necessary precautions to avoid damaging customer, company, or 3rd party property/equipment/product/etc.
- Performs additional training duties as assigned by management.
- Must be an active employee with TALKE USA for at least 6 months.
- Must not have had a disciplinary action in the past 12 months.
- Must not have attendance issues.
- Must have experience operating a sit-down forklift (gas-powered, diesel-powered, and/or electrical-powered).
- Must be able to communicate and train (in a classroom and field setting).
- 2 years’ experience working with forklifts.
- Must hold a valid forklift certification.
- Must be able to perform all “Safe Driving Skills”.
- Must be able to demonstrate Down Stacking, Double Stacking, Loading Container, moving small and large loads (if applicable).
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Must be able to do basic math
- Must have basic computer skills
