What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology File Specialist - full time - Tallahassee, FL position at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic?
We are currently seeking a Radiology File Specialist for a full-time position in one of our Tallahassee locations.
Duties include printing films for surgery; importing x-ray CDs into the PACS system; handling subpoena requests for imaging; answering phones for image requests from outside facilities and performing all other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed helpful and appropriate.
Applicants must be able to set priorities, identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. One must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills for managing workflow and follow-up on patient needs and physicians. Applicants must have strong computer skills and be able to work with various office systems to scan & fax. Applicants must be able to work well independently or as a part of a team.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education and at least one (1) year of related medical clerical experience is required.
