What You'll Do
As a Compass Program Coordinator, you will be based in the Department's designated Central Office location and will be responsible for:
- Developing training curriculum for Career Development Specialists.
- Training Career Development Specialists who teach the 100-Hour Transitions Skills Education Program.
- Assisting Correctional Programs Administrator and Operations Review Specialist with preparation of required reports.
- Ordering supplies in MFMP and through various vendors.
- Scheduling and attending meetings as required.
Education
We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in the workforce development, corrections, or social service, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry. Effective written and oral communication skills
- A valid Florida Driver's License.
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
