Location: Greater Chicago area, IL
Role: Import Coordinator
Salary: $19 DOE
Job type: Full-time, in-person
Responsibilities:
Customs clearance and delivery to customers accurately and efficiently
Coordinate shipments with importers and customers
Data entry and document processing, arranging Pierpass, audit and maintain files
Monitor shipments, keep communications with customers and vendors
Generate, process and approve invoices for payment
Open communication with other departments, customers, government agencies such as US Customs and Border Protection, and Food and Drug Administration
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1 years previous knowledge and experience with import operations required
Effective time management and organizational skills, must be able to complete jobs with little supervision
Basic math and problem solving
Bilingual spanish a plus but not required
High school diploma/equivalent or higher required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
