- Develop and optimize cold forming processes, including cold heading and deep impact extrusion.
- Design and implement tooling solutions for metal forming applications.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and validate tooling.
- Ensure quality assurance requirements are met through thorough analysis and testing.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in tooling design and development for cold heading operations.
- Proficiency in cold forming processes and deep impact extrusion.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and standard inspection methods.
- Hands-on experience with tool room machinery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
