Objective
Position is responsible for processing Billing and Invoicing for all Concrete and Aggregates companies. This position will provide day to day support for Management, Sales, Operations and Dispatch.
Organization Structure
This position reports to the Billing Supervisor who reports to the Shared Services Manager.
Nature and Scope
Incumbent will provide support for the wholly owned subsidiaries of Eagle Materials which is based in Dallas, TX. These companies operate ready mix concrete and aggregate operations, market and sell fly ash, and operate a materials laboratory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and Issuing invoices to Customers
- Processing Credit/Debit Memos
- Preparing Statements for Customers
- Dealing with Invoice Issues
- Attention to Detail for Invoice Accuracy
- Knowledge of Confidentiality and Accounting Controls
- Provide information to the customer service and sales departments as requested
- Respond to billing questions from customers
- Help with projects when assigned
- Verify discrepancies by clients, and resolve their billing issues
- Generate financial statements and report
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting; or combination of education and experience
- Experience in Ready Mix business a plus
- 1-3 years’ accounting experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills a must
- Ability to be a team player and interact with all people in the organization
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft applications
