Automation Engineer – Warehouse Automation

About the Role
As an Automation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge automation solutions for our clients. You'll be responsible for PLC programming, HMI design, and implementing Ignition SCADA systems. This role offers the opportunity to travel (up to 30%) and make a tangible impact on automation projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar)
- Design and deploy user-friendly HMI systems
- Work with Ignition software to build scalable SCADA solutions
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver turnkey warehouse automation solutions
- Participate in system commissioning and onsite support during project deployment
- Travel to client sites for installations, testing, and support (up to 30%)
Requirements
- Proven experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
- Strong skills in HMI design and development
- Hands-on experience with Ignition software
- Background in warehouse automation or material handling systems integration
- Willingness to travel (domestic) as required by project needs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
