About the Role Inventory Control Supervisor oversees inventory on the shop floor and in warehouse space. The Inventory Control Supervisor creates cycle count schedule, monitors stock levels of inventory, organizes the inventory, and optimizes the flow of inventory with Material Handlers.
In this role, you will…
- Supervise the daily activities of the inventory/Kitting staff.
- Lead and direct the work of others and oversee the day-to-day operations of the groups.
- Manages the coordination of kits going to various departments.
- Along with keeping ABAS transactions on Work orders and inventory transactions up to date, including negative stock level.
- Work closely with Purchasing to communicate inventory/delivery needs.
- Implement and maintain cycle count program.
- Lead year-end inventory counts and assists with internal and external audits.
- Ensure that physical inventory always matches the system inventory.
- Be responsible for implementing strategies to meet daily goals of kitting and Inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality to ensure efficiency.
- Understand the full product life cycle within the shop.
- Suggest specific training and development teams.
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Proficient in our ERP system and Microsoft Office Understand a Kan Ban system.- Have organizational skills to keep the product organized and the flow of product efficiently.
- Ability to instruct Material Handlers to feed the production lines and keep product organized and stocked appropriately.
- Efficiently scheduled cycle counts and gets to the root cause of issues.
- Have a certain degree of creativity and latitude you use to get your job done.
- Have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the fabrication and assembly process.
