The Sourcing Associate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential acquisition targets. This role involves market research, analyzing industry trends, maintaining relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders to help identify opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and other deal sources to generate a consistent deal flow pipeline.
- Collaborate with the corporate development team to understand strategic priorities and develop targeted outreach strategies to source actionable deal opportunities.
- Track and manage deal pipeline activity, including maintaining databases, tracking interactions, and updating deal status reports.
- Prepare and present deal sourcing updates and recommendations to the corporate development leads.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, corporate development, business development, or related M&A role with a proven track record of successfully sourcing new deals/customers.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with owners, intermediaries, and other deal sources.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driver environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
