What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corelogging Geologist position at Tamarack Geological Services?
About the Role:
- Log exploration drill core from the Coeur d'Alene Mining District in northern Idaho.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced exploration geologists on a variety of exciting projects.
- Work on world-class orogenic silver deposits, gaining exposure to unique geological formations.
- Utilize industry-standard software commonly used in the mining sector.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–4 years of core logging and exploration data management experience.
- Proficiency in core logging and managing exploration data.
- Familiarity with Leapfrog software for drill hole trace updates and data manipulation.
- Ability to interpret geological data and write detailed descriptions for senior management reporting.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Current MSHA certification is a plus.
- Adaptable, outdoorsy, and thrives in dynamic work environments.
- Comfortable with the cyclical nature of the industry, work hard, play hard mentality.
