The Primary Care Clinical Coordinator is a combined role of clinical coordinator and staff RN. This position will coordinate the training, development, implementation, and evaluation of all nursing staff. This position will support continuous quality improvement efforts to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service, including developing and training staff on current or new workflows.

- Oversee and standardize training of new and existing nursing and support staff and ensure that staff competencies are up to date.
- Trains and supports the implementation of new processes with existing staff members, i.e.: Team Care Training, etc.
- Create or assist in creating policies, procedures, workflows, competencies, orientation checklists, etc.
- Attends monthly Provider meetings and implements training and/or workflows based on Provider input.
- Works as an RN 1-2 days a week and fills sick calls for both RNs and CMAs.
- Coordinate the CMA apprenticeship program, including precepting and/or supporting the preceptors. Schedule learning experiences and hands-on teaching.
- Develop, implement, and train staff on clinical policies and workflows.
- Assures patient care and work environments demonstrate safety standards and decrease the likelihood of error or harm to patients; takes corrective action as needed to modify potentially unsafe areas promptly.
- Demonstrates participation in organizational quality improvement efforts to improve patient care outcomes and streamline work processes. Identify and educate staff on any gaps in workflows or competencies.
- Collaborates with Department Leadership and HR to recommend appropriate levels of corrective action needed, regarding skills competencies.
- Onboard and train new and existing team members.
- Promote organizational goals, STAR Standards, communications, and activities.
- Assures compliance with applicable clinical Nursing and CMA standards and accreditations.
- Demonstrates work effectiveness and efficiency including the ability to prioritize competing work demands, achievement of targeted work volume promptly, and positively managing work delays.
- Through understanding of the safety reporting system.
- Work directly with sales representatives and train on any new clinical resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintains Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Has a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Preceptor or educator experience preferred
- EPIC experience
- Project management experience preferred
- BLS Required
