Machine Equipment Technician (Part-time)

Food for Thought is seeking a Machine Equipment Technician on an as-needed basis to support the maintenance and repair of production line equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and food safety compliance of our production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and/or electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines when performing maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with management to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow food safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible availability for on-call work as needed.
