What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance position at Tamarack Lodge?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing items around the property.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and document maintenance activities.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Supervisory skills to oversee maintenance projects or coordinate the work of others.
- Knowledge of electrical systems for troubleshooting and repairing electrical components.
- Ability to effectively maintain facilities, including performing general repairs, painting, plumbing, drywall etc.
This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
