Job Summary:
The Food Runner is a key member of our service team at Tamarack Resort, responsible for ensuring seamless dining experiences for our guests.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work closely with our expo team to deliver hot and cold food in a timely manner to our guests. The successful candidate will be able to multitask effectively, work well under pressure, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify each plate of food meets the guest's order specifications
- Ensure all condiments and accompaniments are included
- Collaborate with the expo team to prepare orders for delivery to tables
- Communicate effectively with servers to ensure guest needs are met
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to avoid breakage and loss
- Complete opening, on-going, and closing side work as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Previous experience providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a fast-paced service environment preferred
