Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager II for Tactical Facility Project Coordination support for our government customer. You will be contributing to our mission to deliver your expertise and experience that you acquired in this field. You will provide all services necessary to ensure the efficient operation of all physical and virtual servers.
TFS is looking for a Project Manager II to be part of an energetic, results-driven team. The current task focus is in the area of process and performance improvement and project management. The work is located in Crane, IN primarily working onsite, with some flexibility for limited telework as the project permits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide cost estimates in accordance with current PMBOK, utilizing government provided formats, systems, markups, and contingency percentages for cost estimates
- Provide executive summary of projects including designs and cost estimates, which will be used for communicating requirements to NAVFAC and other execution agents
- Ability to research projects, develop technical documents ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders, continual maintenance of risk index and execution status of projects
- Update SPLASH database with current project information from beginning to completion
- Track workload of projects and report same
- Coordinate various project drumbeat meetings
These Qualifications are Required:
- 10 years of experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or even private sector proprietary software
- Capability to learn/maintain government databases such as SPLASH, SHAR, ARCHIBUS
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Familiarity/experience with the NSWC-CR mission
- Conference coordination / organization / documentation / follow-up
- Data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of SQL
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline
- PMP Certification Highly Preferred
- Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
