What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surrogacy Case Manager position at Tammuz Family North America?
Tammuz Family North America is looking for a full-time Case Manager to help people become parents through surrogacy. The surrogacy journey includes meeting the intended parents; scheduling the sperm-donation; assisting clients in finding an egg donor, creating embryos, and matching with a gestational carrier; and managing logistics related to getting pregnant and delivering a baby. Other duties may also include planning marketing initiatives, including webinars and in-person conferences for prospective and in-progress intended parents. Our clientele is diverse, including many gay clients.
As the staff member intended parents interact with the most, the Case Manager must be empathetic, mission-driven, highly organized, and attentive to the many details involved with a surrogacy journey. The Case Manager must have excellent customer-service and time-management skills; be a quick study and adaptive to the many changes that can and do occur during a surrogacy journey; and work well independently. Experience working within the realms of surrogacy, fertility or social work and business/logistics is also highly valued—as is, of course, personal experience as an intended parent or surrogate. Qualified multi-lingual applicants—especially Spanish-speaking ones—are encouraged to apply.
The Case Manager will manage the day-to-day progress of North America-based intended parents from our office in Carrboro, NC. Tammuz Family is a quick-paced international team that values a fun and open work culture. The position is a mix of work at our office in Carrboro and remote. Perks include flexibility and some international travel.
If you are passionate about making what will be the biggest difference in intended parents' lives--helping them to realize their dream of having a baby--and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
