Teaching Associate Position at the Child Development Center
We are seeking a qualified individual to plan, perform, and supervise instructional and recreational activities for children in our Child Development Center. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to supporting the physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development of our young students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging educational programs for children from birth to age six
- Supervise and participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and group games
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure consistency and cooperation
Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- ECE credential Level 4 from Illinois Gateways to Opportunity or two years of college credits with relevant coursework
- Ability to stand, kneel, sit, stoop, lift 20 pounds, climb, reach, and run/chase
- At least 19 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)
