About the PATHS Program: We designed the PATHS Program to educate and empower youth ages 10 to 19 about the importance of abstinence and making informed decisions regarding their health and relationships. Utilizing the Heritage Keepers curriculum, the program aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to practice sexual risk avoidance.
Position Summary: The Program Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the PATHS program. This includes managing staff, developing community partnerships, overseeing programmatic policies and procedures, and ensuring the meeting of program goals. The Program Manager will work closely with Tampa Bay Academy of Hope’s leadership to ensure the program’s success.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Program Strategy and Management:
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the PATHS program.
- Manage and monitor the performance of staff members including SRAE Facilitators, Outreach/Intake Recruiters, Program Assistant, Mentor/Volunteer Recruiter, and Data/Systems Manager.
- Conduct field visits and provide ongoing support and training to staff.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement programmatic policies and procedures.
- Create a policies and procedures manual within one hundred days of hire.
- Ensure the implementation of the program model and update it, as necessary.
- Community and Partner Engagement:
- Develop and maintain community partnerships and create Memorandum of Understandings.
- Meet with stakeholders such as middle and high school principals, DJJ facilities, and alternative schools to introduce the PATHS program.
- Create at least twelve new partnerships each year.
- Training and Orientations:
- Provide orientations and training to participants, volunteers, and parents/guardians.
- Plan and execute quarterly events for parents and children, monthly parenting groups, and monthly mentor-mentee activities.
- Recruitment and Retention:
- Recruit at least 450 participants and eighty mentors per year.
- Ensure participant retention rates meet the 90% target.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Provide monthly reports on program progress and goals to the Executive Director.
- Complete and submit quarterly reports by the 15th of the month following the close of the quarter.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficiency in social media, capable of designing ads and making posts to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience in program management, ideally within a non-profit or educational setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and community partnerships.
- Ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment.
Required Goals:
- Annual Recruitment Targets: Recruit and train at least 450 participants and eighty mentors per year.
- Community Partnership Development: Forge at least twelve new community partnerships per year through Memorandum of Understanding.
- Program Retention: Maintain a participant retention rate of at least 90%.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive policy and procedures manual within the first one hundred days of hire.
- Program Visibility: Organize an open house to introduce the PATHS program model and the Heritage Keepers curriculum to the community annually.
Salary : $47,840 - $52,000
